As the current host of "The Business Interview," Jaylan Mobley is also the CEO & founder of the veteran-owned WARTEK Innovating Technology, as well as the non-profit organization, Coffee & Tap.
Jaylan's journey began in Charlotte, NC, where he developed a passion for leadership, becoming the top cadet at West Charlotte Senior High School. His academic excellence earned him a full-ride scholarship to Georgia Military College, where he graduated with a 3.9 GPA and rose to the rank of top cadet as the Regiment Commander. Jaylan later distinguished himself as a Cyber Officer in the West Virginia Army National Guard.
Currently, Jaylan holds a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems with a minor in Cybersecurity from West Virginia University, where he is also pursuing his PhD. His career highlights include an internship at NASA's IV&V Facility, the distinction of being the first Cyber Officer in the West Virginia Army National Guard, and the honor of receiving the Air Adjutant General Coin for his achievements.
Having earned a Master's degree in Cybersecurity Management with a 4.0 GPA, Jaylan serves as an Adjunct Professor at Marshall University, teaching at the Institute for Cyber Security. His service has been recognized with numerous military honors, including the Army Commendation Medal. He is deeply invested in community mentorship and education.
At the helm of WARTEK, Jaylan is dedicated to pioneering advancements in technology and contributing to a safer digital environment. His commitment is to drive innovation and empower individuals and organizations in the digital age through "The Business Interview."
